Have you checked the child vaccine schedule for 0 to 6 years kids
Vaccinations are a crucial part of your child’s overall health. And to secure their well-being you must follow the child vaccine schedule prescribed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). If you get your child vaccinated according to the CDC’s child vaccine schedule then by the time they turn two, they will develop a biological immunity against fourteen diseases.
The following is an overview of the recommended vaccinations prescribed for kids aged from 0 6 years:
Hepatitis B (HepB) HepB vaccine needs to be given to all the newborns within one day of their birth. The next set of doses is administered after the child completes the first or second month of their life.
Diphtheria (DTaP) The child vaccine schedule recommended by the CDC directs the parents to get DTaP vaccination when the child is aged 2, 4, and 6 months respectively. After these 3 immunizations, the child must get the 4th dosage anywhere between the age of 15 to 18 months. The 5th dose is required to be taken when the child is between 4 to 6 years of age.
Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib) Like the Diphtheria, the first phase of the child vaccine schedule for Hib mandates the parents to get 3 vaccine shots in the 2nd, 4th and a 6th month since the child’s birth.
Pneumococcal (PCV) The PVC has the exact same vaccine schedule as HiB. So, the child gets their initial three immunizations in the 2nd, 4th and 6th month since their birth. The 4th vaccination can be taken when the child is between the age window of 12 to 15 months.
Rotavirus (RV) RV has 3 doses which must be taken when the child turns 2, 4 and 6 months old.
