Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease which leads to red flaky patches on the skin. The problem starts with your T-cells which is a specific type of white blood cell. When T-cells become active and set off other immune responses it leads to psoriasis symptoms.

Alcohol
Heavy drinking can cause more frequent psoriasis outbreaks. It can also increase the chance of plaque formation.

Stress
Stress also plays an important role in triggering psoriasis. High stress can bring about skin flares. It’s easier to control and prevent outbreaks if you can control your stress levels.

Injury
A cut on the skin or a bruise can also trigger psoriasis symptoms. An injection or a shot can also do the same.

Infections
Infections can also trigger psoriasis. When you have an infection, the body produce the whited cell. These white blood cell eventually attack your own skin cells, triggering psoriasis symptoms.
